We have plans to make more than one visual jazz opera. This is the time where things get very exciting. We are now reaching out to the visual artists. We need to tell our stories with both audio and visual effects. This photo was taken when I was conducting some of the research for this project in Boston.
Andy is the voice of the Kids Talk Radio Mayan Visual Jazz Opera. He is an actor, singer and a musician. He does all the voiceover work for the high priest, Jaguar Boy, and the chief storyteller. All of his scripts are on the iPad. He is scheduled to play the part of a Spanish explorer in the Mayan Visual Jazz Opera II.
This is Bob Barboza’s setup for the making of a Mayan Visual Jazz Opera sound track. This will be used in part five of the new opera. The sound effects library is growing each week and we will be ready to support original stories from our middle and high school students. This is all part of the new Kids Talk Radio STEM to STEAM Project Series
Our new STEM to STEAM music and science projects make it possible for our team to sample a wide variety of musical instruments. We are very excited about the research that goes into these Hammerax products. Kids Talk Radio conducted this research and we have posted some special interviews at http://www.KidsTalkRadioUSA.com. You can find them in the podcasting section.
Composer Bob Barboza has been experimenting with storytelling and electronic sound effects for the Kids Talk Radio Sound Effects Orchestra.
